Triple Bio is developing RUMENRG™ , a new class of feed additive designed to help farmers increase milk yield while reducing methane, by rebalancing the rumen microbiome.

RumeNRG™ is designed to increase yields by making more energy available from the same feed ration. The small additional cost for the feed bill is paid back by increased revenue from greater productivity.

Reducing methane

Enteric methane contributes to over 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. By offering a solution that does not require a sustainability premium, we plan to halve on-farm emissions at no additional cost to the farmer.

We rebalance
the microbiome,

More energy for milk

We nudge the cow’s microbiome to redirect energy away from methane towards milk production, improving digestion and supporting higher yields.

Nature-inspired

RumeNRG™ technology is based on the unique properties of the cells of methanogens, microbes within the rumen responsible for methane production. The ingredients used to make our products are simple and routinely used in food and feed ingredients.

04 Roadmap

4.1 Today

Patent pending: unique approach proven in vitro

Our approach is validated in the lab. In 2026 our first animal studies are planned and we'll begin the process for regulatory approval.

4.2 Tomorrow

Animal studies, regulatory approvals &
strategic partnerships

Bringing RumeNRG™ out of the lab and into the real world will require co-ordinated development with key strategic partners. We're already working on commercial partnerships to accelerate market entry. Announcements coming in 2026.

4.3 Within 5 years

Scaling globally and expanding product lines
to address all ruminants

We plan to begin with feed additive solutions for intensive dairy farming, before expanding into solutions for more extensive farming across dairy, beef and other ruminants.

Interdisciplinary technical &
commercial expertise

Triple Bio is a biotechnology startup founded in 2025 by Tracy Nevitt, Bart Tas and Peter Rowe.

Founded with Marble, a Paris-based climate tech venture studio, the company was built to fix the zero-sum game between profit and sustainability in cattle farming.

Split across the UK and The Netherlands, the team has a strong interdisciplinary scientific foundation, complemented by decades of experience in the animal nutrition and dairy industries.
